Changing First Day of Pay Week When Using Personnel Scheduling
The Personnel Scheduling PS: Post Setup screen and PS: Schedules screen use the First Day field to determine how the days of the week display.
If it is necessary to change your company's First Day of Pay Week after you have set up Job Posts and you are using Personnel Scheduling, follow this procedure.
Note: This is something you should try to avoid unless absolutely necessary since you will have to set up your entire Weekly Schedules and Job Shift information within each post again.
To Change the first day of the pay week
- Print thePS Report: Job Post.
WinTeam will retain the Post information, but not the Shift Details within each Post. - Print the
PS Report: Scheduling of all Master Schedules (by clearing out the date) and any Working Schedules you need. This will help you set up the new schedules exactly as they were before the deletion.
You may want to run both the Matrix Scheduling Report and the normal Job Schedules Report so both can be used to help with rescheduling. The Scheduling Activity Report (in Detail) can also be helpful. - Once you have printed the reports, contact TEAM to assist in deleting all of the Personnel Scheduling Weekly Schedules and Job Shifts (Post Set Up, Shift Details grid).
- Once the information has been deleted, go to PAY: Defaults and change the day of your pay week.
- Using your reports, set up all your Shifts within each Post.
- Schedule your Employees into the appropriate shifts in your Schedules.
