Tier Add/Edit List
Overview
You can use the Tier Add/Edit List to create, change, or delete Tier Parameters.
You can access the Tier Add/Edit List by double-clicking in a Tier on the Job Master File Tier Parameters tab.
Key Functionality
Use the ID field to enter a unique numerical identifier for the Tier Parameter. Tiered reports print in order of ID.
Use the Description field to enter a unique description for the Tier Parameter.
The Parent field displays the name of the Parent Tier as set up in SYS Defaults and Tier Parameters. Use this field to set Tier Parameter Relationships. See Setting Up Tiers for more information.
Double clicking on this field will display that Tier's add/edit list.
Use the Quick Lookup to insert a Contact for this Tier Parameter.
Use the Quick Lookup or insert and Employee Number for this Tier Parameter. The Employee Name automatically fills in.
You can deselect the Active check box to remove this Parameter from the drop-down list in the Job Master File Tier Parameters tab.
Use the Default check box to select the default Parameter for this Tier. You can default to empty by not selecting any default.
Note: You will be unable to default to blank if you have a Parameter with ID equal to 0. If you have an ID equal to 0, it will default to this Parameter if nothing else is selected as the default.
