PS: Post Watch - Review Changes
Overview
You can use the Post Watch - Review Changes screen to review all changes made to the Schedules via the Post Watch screen. It can be filtered based on numerous criteria. Any grid row in the Job Details grid on the Post Watch screen that contains a C is included in the Scheduling Changes Report, and also display in the Post Watch - Review Changes screen. Once you select filter criteria, you will need to click the Search button.
You can select the Reviewer check box as way to track the changes that have been reviewed by the reviewing authority. The Reviewer can also add notes that are pertinent to the changes or review.
You can access the Post Watch - Review Changes screen from the PS: Post Watch screen or PS: Schedules.
From the Post Watch screen, click the Menu button, and then click Review Changes or press CTRL + K.
From the PS Schedules screen, click the Menu, and then click Post Watch - Review Changes or press CTRL + K.
You can also double-click in a "C" cell (the Change Record column) in the Job Details grid on the Post Watch screen to display the screen.
Key Functionality
Click the lookup button to open the Lookup Jobs window where you can search for a job. You can also make entries directly in the Job Number field to search for a job; enter letters to search by job description or numbers to search by job number.
Double-click in the Job Number field to open either the Job Information window or the Job Master File window, depending on your security settings.
Enter or use the Lookup to search for an Employee Number.
Double-clicking in the Employee Number field will display either the Employee Information screen or the Employee Master File, depending on your security settings.
If the Job you are searching has multiple Posts, you can filter by Post.
Filter by the type of change. This is a hard coded list.
Filter by the date you want to review changes.
Filter by the reason code.
This is an add/edit list.
This field uses the Detail ID.
Displays the reason (root cause) changes were made to the Schedule from the Post Watch screen.
When making a change to a Schedule from the Post Watch screen, you are required to enter the Root Cause, except when you are adding Notes to a shift.
This is an add/edit list.
Use the Created By field to filter based on User Name.
The list displays User Name, Employee Number and User Type.
Filter by the date that changes were reviewed.
Filter by the date that the Schedule was changed via the Post Watch screen.
Reviewed
Check the Reviewed check box to indicate that the change has been reviewed and approved.
Job Number
Double-clicking the Job Number takes you to the Job Information screen or JOB: Job Master File.
Post Description
Double-clicking the Post Description takes you to the Post Setup screen for that Job and Post.
Source System
The name of the WinTeam or eHub user.
Details Button
Click the Details Button to go to the Schedule for that post.
System Notes are displayed for each record where
- changes were made to the Scheduled In Time
- changes were made to the Scheduled In Time and EE was clocked in
- changes were made to the Scheduled Out Time
- changes were made to the Scheduled Out Time and EE was clocked out
- a shift was removed from an Open Position
- a shift was removed from an Assigned Position
- a new employee assigned
Security
If you can open the Post Watch screen then you can view this screen. If you do not have permissions to view Post Watch, changes can be viewed on the Scheduling Changes Report, provided you have access to that report.
