TTP: Check-In Processes
Note: New instances/applications of TTP are not currently being supported.
Overview
The following links to flow charts illustrate common authentication and job check-in scenarios.
This flow chart illustrates the process followed when an Employee attempts to authenticate on the device using biometric matching or a keypad.
This flow chart illustrates the process followed when an Employee attempts to authenticate on the device using a keypad on which the Employee number is entered. This authentication method can be used in addition to or instead of biometric matching. For example, if an Employee is scanning a fingerprint for the first time to authenticate, and the fingerprints have not been stored in the local device cache yet in order to be matched, the keypad mode functionality will serve as the validation method in this case.
This flow chart illustrates the process followed when an Employee attempts to start a new shift when Allow Work Ticket Entry and/or Enter Work Ticket First are enabled in the Employee Classification in WinTeam. In order to determine the correct Job to check in to, the system will use the Job associated with the Work Ticket.
See Work Ticket Flow Chart and Work Ticket Flow Chart, Part 2.
This flow chart illustrates the process followed when an Employee attempts to start a new shift with no Work Ticket-related options enabled and no schedules set up. The system will determine the Job to check the Employee in to simply by using the Job Option Number - Single Job, List of Jobs or List of Jobs, Allow Others.
This flow chart illustrates the process followed when a PS Schedules Employee attempts to start a new shift and Live Schedule Lookup is enabled. This means the system will go directly to WinTeam and see if a schedule exists for the Employee in order to determine the Job (and schedule) to check the Employee in to.
In this particular example, Live Schedule Lookup is enabled and the Job Number Option is List of Jobs. Can Enter Job Number and Force to Enter Job Number are not enabled.
This flow chart illustrates the process followed when a PS Schedules Employee attempts to start a new shift and Live Schedule Lookup is not enabled. This means the system will go directly to TeamTime and see if a schedule exists for the Employee in order to determine the Job (and schedule) to check the Employee in to.
In this particular example, Live Schedule Lookup is not enabled and the Job Number Option is List of Jobs. Can Enter Job Number and Force to Enter Job Number are not enabled.
This flow chart illustrates the process followed when a PS Schedules Employee attempts to start a new shift and Live Schedule Lookup is not enabled, but Can Enter Job Post is selected in the Employee Classification screen in WinTeam. If there is not a valid schedule in TeamTime for the Employee, the Employee will select a Job from the list; the system will then see if a valid schedule exists for the Job in WinTeam. If there is a Job schedule, the Employee will be able to select a post from the list.
In this particular example, Live Schedule Lookup is not enabled and the Job Number Option is List of Jobs. Can Enter Job Number and Force to Enter Job Number are not enabled. Can Enter Job Post is selected in the Employee Classification screen.
