HR: Compliance Tracking Group Setup
Overview
The Compliance Tracking Group Setup screen can be accessed from the Job Master File (Job Requirements tab), by double-clicking in the Group Name field.
The Compliance Tracking Group Setup screen is used to create groups of Compliance Codes.
Compliance Tracking Groups may use different combinations of the same Compliance Codes. Several Compliance Codes are grouped together into a Compliance Tracking Group, which can then be used by multiple Jobs.
Security
The HR Compliance Tracking Group Setup screen has its own Security Group, HR Compliance Tracking Group Setup.
The HR Compliance Tracking Group Setup screen is part of the HR ALL Security Group.

Key Functionality
Toolbar
Click the Advanced filter button to create or edit a filter for finding and/or sorting specific records. You can also select a Saved filter. Click the Apply Filter/Sort button to apply any filter or sort criteria you created. Click the Remove Filter/Sort button to remove a filter or sort, if one is currently applied. For more information see Advanced Filtering.
Lookup
Use the Lookup list to locate an existing record.
When an ID is entered and the number matches an existing record, tabbing from the field automatically loads the record.
ID
Displays the ID of the record.
Hover over the Change Information icon to see User Added, Date Added, User Changed and Date Changed information. WinTeam records the logon name of the user entering or changing this record. The Date Added is the original date this record was entered into the system. The Date Changed is the date the record was last changed. Right-click on the Change Info icon to filter for records added or changed by a specific user or date.
When you hover over the User Changed or Date Changed filters, you can:
- Filter By Selection - Filters for all records that match your current records field value.
- Filter by Exclusion - Excludes from your filter all records that match your current records field value.
- Filter For - Filters based on the text/value you enter.
- Sort Ascending - If you already have a filter applied, the Sort Ascending command is available. Also used to include all records in the filter and sort in ascending order based on the current records field value.
- Sort Descending - If you already have a filter applied, the Sort Descending command is available. Also used to include all records in the filter and sort in descending order based on the current records field value.
Description
Enter a unique name to describe the Compliance Tracking Group.
After you have created a Compliance Tracking Group, the system displays this Description (usually with corresponding information) in related lists and pick from lists found in other areas of HR, Payroll, and Personnel Scheduling.
Group Type
Type or select the Group Type to classify and manage Groups (Compliance) for sorting and reports. This can be used to help identify the purpose of each group.
To add a new Group Type, double-click in the Group Type field, or type a new Group Type and press Enter.
The Group Types add/edit list displays.
Notes
Enter any Notes pertaining to this Compliance Tracking Group. If you enter more than one line of information, the system automatically wraps the lines of information for you.
Compliance Codes grid
The Compliance Codes grid is used to add Compliance Tracking Codes to the Compliance Group and also indicate the level of action to take by the scheduler if an employee does not meet the qualification requirements.
Compliance Tracking Code
Select the Compliance Tracking Codes, or use the Lookup to locate an existing Compliance Tracking Code you want to assign to this Compliance Tracking Group.
To add a new Compliance Tracking Code, double-click in the Compliance Tracking Code field to display the Compliance Tracking Codes screen.
Adding Compliance Tracking Codes ties those Codes to the Compliance Tracking Group. When setting up Job Requirements, these Compliance Tracking Groups are available from the Group Name list. This makes entry of Compliance Codes much easier than entering single Codes for each Job (or Post).
Scheduling Response Level
Select the Scheduling Response Level to assign to this Job. This indicates the level of action to take by the scheduler if an employee does not meet the qualifications for a Compliance Code.
Double-click within the Scheduling Response Level field to display the Scheduling Response Level Setup screen.
The Response Level (if assigned) will carry over to the Post Setup screen. You may overwrite the Response Level on the Post Setup screen.
