WS: Billable Ticket Review
Overview
You may access the WS: Billable Ticket Review screen from the Navigation Pane under WS.
The Billable Ticket Review screen can be used to compare billable Work Tickets against AR Invoices in order to identify and highlight any variances. When an AR Invoice is billed differently (either more or less) than the Work Ticket required, a variance occurs.
The upper section of the screen contains filter criteria, and the lower section is an interactive grid. The interactive grid allows you to drill down on records.
Some users may want to see billable work tickets that have not been invoiced, while other users (or at other times) may want to focus on tickets where there is a difference between the billable total and what was invoiced.
You can also review Work Tickets that are not done, but billable.
Standard grid functionality applies to this screen. For information on grid functionality see Understanding Grids and Using the Filter Row Feature.
Key Functionality
Schedules Filters
The Schedules Filters area is used for filtering data to display in the grid.
Job Number
Enter a Job Number, or use the Lookup to locate a Job Number, to filter billable tickets by Job.
For more information see Using Quick Lookups or Lookup Jobs.
Double-click in the Job Number field to open the Job Master File.

Double-click in the Supervisor field to open the Supervisor add/edit list.
Tier Template
Select a Tier Template to filter billable tickets by tiers.
The tier template does NOT look at dated tiers.
Completion Date From and Completion Date To
Enter a date, or use the Date Control, to filter by a completion date range.
The Completion Date From defaults to the 1st day of the previous month.
The Completion Date To defaults to the last day of the current month.
The Completion Date From and To fields MUST be filled in to get results.
Invoice Variance
Only Show Variances
This check box is not selected by default.
When this check box is selected, the grid displays only records where the Billable Extension total on the Ticket is different from the Extension total on the Invoices. Only items that do not have a 0.00% Variance display in the grid. In addition, % Over Ticket and % Under Ticket fields are enabled in order to specify a percentage over or under the ticket billable amount to filter by.
When this check box is cleared, all invoice/tickets are visible.
Tip: Clearing this check box shows a complete picture of how closely AR Invoices align with billable items on the Work Ticket.
Selecting this check box results in shorter report with ONLY the differences.
% Over Ticket and % Under Ticket
These fields are enabled if the Only Show Variances check box is selected.
Use the % Over Ticket and % Under Ticket fields to specify a percentage over or under the ticket billable amount to filter by.
When using the Percentage Over Ticket, only the records that equal or are over the specified percentage will display.
When using the Percentage Under Ticket, only the records that equal or are under the specified percentage will display.
If you have a figure in the % Over Ticket AND % Under Ticket, the grid displays those records that are over and under the entered percentages, but not the records "in between" numbers.
Example: If you have 5% in both fields, the records that are between 5% Under and 5% Over are not displayed. Only the records that are over and under the specified percentages will display.
Include Tickets Not Invoiced
Select this check box to display only the tickets that have at least one billable line linked to AR Invoice Details. Any additional tickets that have not been invoiced in AR will display in the grid.
Note: This does not necessarily mean the extension totals are equal.
This check box is not selected by default.
Category/Records
Use the Category / Records to filter by Status, Schedule Dates, Routes, Customers, Tasks, Frequencies, Types, and Crews.
Refresh button
Click Refresh, or press ALT + R to update the grid after applying filters.
Field Chooser
Use the Field Chooser to select the columns you want displayed in the grid.
