INS: ACA Settings Review
Overview
The ACA Settings Review window is accessed from the WinTeam Insurance Benefits menu. Use it to confirm that Insurance Benefits setup across all Offerings, Benefits and Eligibilities will yield the expected codes for 1095-C reporting.
Key Functionality
This screen can display a historical view. To see a specific history record for a Benefit change the As of Date field.
On this tab, you can review all Benefit Offerings at a glance and their resulting 1095-C Line 14 codes. You can expand Offerings to see individual Benefits they comprise. You can review ACA Multi-Employer Interim Relief Rule compliance status, 1095-C Line 14 code, and allows expanded views of benefits.
You can customize the columns displayed in the Offerings Review Grid by clicking the icon in the upper-left corner of the grid.
The Offerings grid allows you include all or any of the following fields: Active, DateAdded, DateChanged, Multi-Employer, Offering, Offering - Line 14, Offering_ID, Offering_Ranking, UserAdded and UserChanged.
When you click the + symbol to the left of a particular Offering, a second grid with displays all associated Benefits. (You can view all Benefits in the system on the Benefits tab.) The Benefits Field Chooser allows you to include all or any of dozens of fields, including: ACA (whether plan is marked as an ACA plan), Carrier Cost Per Month, Employer Cost, Monthly Employee Cost, MEC (whether benefit meets Minimum Essential Coverage requirements), MV (whether benefit provides Minimum Value) and Safe Harbor (under IRS guidelines, the Safe Harbor Rule that applies to the benefit), and whether the plan provides conditional Spousal Coverage.

This tab displays all Benefits and associated Plan Options by Pricing Effective date. The Field Chooser allows you to include dozens of fields including the ACA settings of Minimum Essential Coverage, Minimum Value, Safe Harbor, Spousal Coverage, and Self-Insured. The Line 14 field displays the 1095-C line 14 code that will be yielded by a benefit's setup.
Double-click a blue entry in the Benefit field to open the associated INS: Benefit Setup screen.
Among other fields you may choose to review, this tab indicates whether a plan is denoted as ACA-compliant and the plan start month. Double-click a blue entry in the Eligibility field to open the associated Eligibility Setup screen.
