Adding a Security Group to a User
Use this procedure to add a Security Group or Security Role to an existing User Name. You may want to review the following topics before adding a Security Group to a User:
Note: To make a User a part of a Security Group, you must add the Security Group to the User. You cannot add a User directly to a Security Group.
To add a Group to a User:
- From the Security menu, click User Setup.
- Lookup the existing User Name.
- In the Groups grid, select each Group (or Role) to grant access to the User.
- Click Close to save the record.
