Overview
The Sub Assets screen lists all Sub Assets assigned to a Parent Asset. WinTeam automatically fills the four fields contained in Sub Assets screen (Asset ID, Description, Serial Number, and Date Acquired). You cannot change information directly in the Sub Assets screen; however, WinTeam automatically updates the Sub Assets screen when you make changes to Sub Asset records in the Asset Master File screen.
You may click the Detail button to display the FA: Master File screen of the selected Sub Asset record.
The Sub Assets screen may be accessed from the FA: Master File screen by clicking the Sub Assets button. The Sub Assets button is visible on the FA: Master File screen for Parent Asset records only.
Key Functionality
ID
Displays the ID Number of the Sub Asset
Description
Displays the Description of the Sub Asset.
Serial Number
Displays the Serial Number of the Sub Asset.
Date Acquired
Displays the Date the asset was acquired.
Detail button
Click the Detail button to open the corresponding FA: Master File record.
