AP: Sending NACHA Advices Electronically

WinTeam has the ability to send AP NACHA Advices via email to the primary contact in the Vendor Master File. This notifies the vendors that an electronic NACHA Payment is being sent, and the Vendor can then efficiently process the payment.

To send AP NACHA Advices:

  1. In the AP:Defaults screen, enter a 'From' Email Address in the NACHA Advice From E-mail field.
  2. Ensure that a Primary Contact is designated in the Vendor Master File (Contacts tab).
  3. When you are ready to send the Advices, select the E-mail Advice option under Report Type on the NACHA Bank Transmission report options.
  4. Once you selected the E-mail Advice option, the Only Vendors with a Primary Contact check box is automatically selected. Click Preview to see the Advices for Vendors who have a primary contact and will receive the advice via email.
  5. If you clear this check box, and then click Preview, you will see the Advices that fall within the report criteria, but not which advices will be sent to those Vendors who have a Primary Contact list.
  6. When you are done previewing click E-mail to send.
  7. WinTeam will then make a System Note in the applicable AP: Payment record on the Notes tab indicating that an Advice was sent, along with the date of the transmission.
