INS: Setting up Override Rules

Overview

The Override Rules table is accessed by double-clicking the Override Rule field in the following windows:

INS: Benefits by Employee (Benefits tab > Benefit Packages grid)

Overrides are a way for users to specify the exact benefit package settings that should apply for a given employee and time period, overriding what is set up in the Job. This field will normally be blank.

  1. Enter a unique Description of up to 50 characters. Duplicate IDs and Descriptions are not allowed. This field is required.
  2. Enter an Override Period. Double-click to display the Waiting Periods table. From here, add or edit Waiting Periods.
  3. Enter a Tier Level in the Change of this Job Attribute column.
