HR: Setting up Employer Sponsored Healthcare

To set up employer sponsored healthcare for benefits in WinTeam Human Resources module:

  1. On the HR: Benefit Setup screen of the applicable benefit, select the Include on W2 as Employee Sponsored Health Coverage check box.

  1. Set up the Employee's benefit in the HR: Benefits by Employee screen Insurance /Other tab
    OR
    Assign the Benefit to a Benefit Category, and then assign the Benefit Category to an Employee.

To assign a Benefit Category to an employee:

  1. From the Human Resources Menu, click Employee Master File.
  2. Enter the Employee Number, and then press Tab.
  3. Click the Other Information tab.
  4. Select the Benefit Category from the Benefit Category list.
