PAY: Reports Summary

The Payroll Reports menu may be accessed from the Human Resources Main Menu and the Payroll Main Menu.

  • 401K Report - Use the 401K Report to list employees for a Census Status, to list 401K deferred amounts, or to calculate the employers' 401K match amount.
  • 941 Report - Use the 941 Report to assist in calculating the amount to remit for your tax liability and track payments made. The report can include tax liability, payments, or both (using Recap as the Output Type).
  • Check Register - Use the Check Register Report to verify checks written and cleared. Use this report as a tool when reconciling your bank account. You may also print a Check Register Report through the Bank Reconciliation screen.
  • Employee W-2 Report - Use the Employee W-2 report to view employee W-2 information, print W-2 forms and prepare magnetic media W-2 info. The various taxes display along with the Earnings, Taxable Income, and Taxes withheld.
  • Hours Budget Comparison - The Hours Budget Comparison Report can be used to compare actual hours worked and budgeted hours for each Job. The variance also displays. You can select to show only Jobs that are over or under specific budget percentages, and Jobs without timekeeping hours.
    The report may also include Project Hours and figure Labor Dollars, and the ability to select only the project hours budgets from the regular budgeted hours.
  • Hours By Employee - Use the Hours By Employee report to view or print the hours worked by each employee within a specified date range. The report lists the hours worked by each employee and all also provides a recap by Hours Type and by Job.
  • Hours Categories - The Hours Category report is used to verify the Hours Categories set up in the system and the Hours Types associated with each Hours Category.
  • Hours Types - Use the Hours Types report to list the Hours Types created in the Hours Types Defaults section. You may choose to list just the Hours Types that are assigned to a specific Hours Category. Detailed information concerning each Hours Type is included in the report.
  • Job Rates - Use the Job Rates Report to find all Employees whose pay rate is determined by Rates by Job.
    This report can be grouped by Employee or by Job and sorted by the either the number or name. The Tile is indented below the Job Name.
  • NACHA Bank Transmission - Use the NACHA Bank Transmission screen to create a transmission file to allow direct deposit of paychecks.
  • Other Compensations or Deductions - Use the Other Compensations or Other Deductions report to list the Other Compensations and Deductions and their detail information.
  • Paycheck Warning - Use the Paycheck Warning report to list employees who did not receive a paycheck or employees with Other Compensations and Deductions set up in the Employee Master File.
  • Pay Info History - Use the Pay Info History Report to list pay history for selected employees.
  • Payroll Check History - Use the Payroll Check History report to view and print paycheck information for selected employees. The report lists each paycheck issued with a breakdown of hours, earnings and deductions.
  • Record of Employment - The Record of Employment (ROE) is used for the administration and enforcement of the Employment Insurance Act for Canada.
  • Timekeeping - Use the Timekeeping report to review timekeeping hours for a specified date range. It is a good idea to verify timekeeping hours before printing paychecks.
  • Timesheet Print - Use the Timesheet Print report to print Timesheets for each employee or a Timesheet for a job with each employee listed for the job. You may choose to print timesheets by permanent timecards, by timekeeping hours or print blank timesheets. Based on your selection made in the Report Option box, different selection criteria display for the Timesheet by Job or Timesheet by Employee.
  • Unemployment Compensation Tax - The Unemployment Compensation Tax report is used to gather unemployment compensation detail for each state and the federal government. This report displays Gross Earnings, as well as Taxable Earnings for each employee
  • Wage By Job - Use the Wage Report By Job to list the wages for a specified pay period for selected Jobs.
  • Workers Compensation - Use the Workers Compensation Report to list all wages, compensations and deductions by state, and workers compensation codes.
