Installing AR Email Engine
WinTeam includes the ability to send invoices to Customers by email. In order to send invoices to PDF, you need to have the following setup:
- Make sure your WinTeam version is 5.2 or greater.
- Verify that you have at least 5MB of disk space available.
- Download the Email Engine installation file to the SQL server.
Note: Right click and choose "Save As..." (or "Save Target as...") to download Email Engine v56006.msi file.
- When you are ready to install the program, double-click the file to begin the installation process. The Welcome screen displays.
- Click Next. The Setup screen displays.
- Type your SQL Server Name in the highlighted area.
- Enter the Mail Server address.
- Enter the User Name and Password if one is required when connecting to your SMTP server.
- Click Next. The Installation screen displays.
- Select the installation folder for the Email Engine. To install to the default folder, click Next. To install to a different folder, click Browse.
- Now that the installer is ready, click Next on the Confirm Installation screen.
- When the installation is complete, click Close.
- Restart your computer.
The Email Engine runs as a Windows service that does not require any intervention from you. The service starts when you start your computer. For more information see Emailing AR Invoices and Frequently Asked Questions - Emailing AR Invoices.
