Installing AR Email Engine

WinTeam includes the ability to send invoices to Customers by email. In order to send invoices to PDF, you need to have the following setup:

  1. Make sure your WinTeam version is 5.2 or greater.
  2. Verify that you have at least 5MB of disk space available.
  3. Download the Email Engine installation file to the SQL server.

Note:  Right click and choose "Save As..." (or "Save Target as...") to download Email Engine v56006.msi file.

  1. When you are ready to install the program, double-click the file to begin the installation process. The Welcome screen displays.
  2. Click Next. The Setup screen displays.
  3. Type your SQL Server Name in the highlighted area.
  4. Enter the Mail Server address.
  5. Enter the User Name and Password if one is required when connecting to your SMTP server.
  6. Click Next. The Installation screen displays.
  7. Select the installation folder for the Email Engine. To install to the default folder, click Next. To install to a different folder, click Browse.
  8. Now that the installer is ready, click Next on the Confirm Installation screen.
  9. When the installation is complete, click Close.
  10. Restart your computer.

The Email Engine runs as a Windows service that does not require any intervention from you. The service starts when you start your computer. For more information see Emailing AR Invoices and Frequently Asked Questions - Emailing AR Invoices.
