PS Report: Open Position Warning

Overview

The Open Position Report is used to identify Schedules that have unfilled positions. The Date Range defaults to a blank date range so the Open Position Report defaults to look at the Master Schedule. However, you may enter a date range to (for example, current week) to find Open Positions in the current week's schedule.

This report looks to the Detail Cell Information for its results.

This report should be run on a daily or weekly basis to determine Jobs that have unfilled positions. It will sort by shift and time. If the shift and time are the same, it will then sort by date.

You can filter, group, and print by Tiers, allowing for total customization of the report. To make filtering easier, for any Tier, you can include All, Pick/Create or Exclude parameters. Using Tier Templates to set up and save report templates makes it easy to generate a specific report each time you need it, without having to recreate the criteria. See Using Tier Templates for more information.
