Overview
The Item Diary screen from the toolbar in the Item Master File screen.
The Item Diary enables you to keep notes concerning issues or to track using Follow Up Dates. You can use it to record any interaction you want to remember—such as a phone conversation or a handwritten letter you mailed or received. The records are sorted by Entry Date.
A Diary Report can be run for the Item Diary. The Item Diary Report can be accessed from the INV Reports menu.
Security
The INV: Items Diary screen has its own Security Group,INV Items Diary with the Insert Only and Read-Only features available.
The INV: Item Diary screen is part of the INV ALL and SYS Diaries ALL Security Groups.

Select an Item Master Diary Type from the list for this entry or double-click in the Type field to display the Item Diary Types add/edit list.
