Once you click the Save or Save As button on the Filter tab, the Save As dialog box displays.
The Description must be unique. You cannot create or change a Description if an existing filter has the same Description, Filter ID, and Owner.
Share Filter with Others
Select the Share Filter with Others check box to share the Saved Filter with other users. If you select the check box, the Allow Others to Modify becomes available. If this check box is selected, other users can use the filter, but cannot overwrite the original filter or modify it.
Allow Others to Modify
This check box is enabled only if the Shared check box is selected. Select the Allow Others to Modify check box to enable other users to modify and save the filter. This will overwrite the original filter. Other users will be able to modify all fields.
OK
Click OK to Save the filter. Once a filter is saved you can access it directly from the Saved Filters list on the toolbar.
