DocLink Security
Access to documents stored in DocLink is controlled through WinTeam's security feature. You should set up security groups for DocLink to control who is able to view and make changes to documents.
To create a WinTeam security group, choose Group Setup from WinTeam's Security menu. Give the security group a name and type any notes you want about the group.
Next, click the DocLink Document Types tab. Choose the document types you want to make available to DocLink users by choosing them from the drop-down menus.
For each document type you make available, you can choose whether to make the documents editable or read only.
To make a document editable, choose it in the Description list by clicking it, and then click the Standard Rights check box in the Features list.
To make a document read only, choose the document type in the list and select the Read Only check box.
Once you have completed setting up your DocLink security groups, assign the groups to users by choosing User Setup from WinTeam's Security menu and assigning the groups as you normally would in WinTeam.
