eHub: Taking Action on Work Requests
As Work Requests move through the workflow process they may require action from you. Using the Assigned To Me tab you can filter the requests which require your action. Work Requests can be accessed from the Work Requests widget on the Main landing page.

Key Functionality
- Select the Work Request card to expand the details.
- Click the Approve button.
- One of two User Comments windows will display based upon if this is the last step in the workflow.
- Click the Save button to save the approval, or click the Cancel button to cancel approving the request. A Request Approved confirmation message displays.
If this approval is not the last step in the workflow you will receive a User Comments window for you to type in optional notes.
If this approval is the last step in the workflow you will receive a User Comments window with additional fields to enter.
Click the Resulting Action drop-down and choose the appropriate selection. You can select the Mark as Closed check box to close the request, or choose to leave it deselected to leave it open. Enter any notes in the Notes field as necessary.
- Select the Work Request card to expand the details.
- Click the Approve drop-down button and click on Reject. A User Comments window displays.
- Click the Resulting Action drop-down and choose the appropriate selection.
- You can select the Mark as Closed check box to close the Work Request, or choose to leave it deselected to leave it open.
- Enter any notes in the Notes field as necessary.
- Click the Save button to save the rejection of the request, or click the Cancel button to cancel rejecting the request. A Request Rejected confirmation message displays.
- When you reject a request, the status changes to rejected and the request will not continue with the workflow process.
- Select the Work Request card to expand the details.
- To cancel the request, click the Approve drop-down button and click on Cancel.
- A User Comments window displays for you to complete.
- Enter any notes as necessary and click the Save button to save the cancellation of the request. You can click the Cancel button to stop the cancel process.
- A Request Canceled confirmation message displays.
- When you cancel a request, the status changes to canceledand the request will not continue with the workflow process.
- Select the Work Request card to expand the details.
- Click the Mark As Closed button.
- A Request Closed confirmation message displays.
- Select the Work Request card to expand the details.
- Click the Approve drop-down and click on Escalate.
- Type in notes in the User Comments window and click the Save button to escalate the request to the next step. You can cancel the escalation by clicking the Cancel button
- When you select Escalate, you are neither Approving or Rejecting the Request. The Request moves to the next step in the workflow process and will have a status of In Progress. If this is the final approval in the workflow process, 'Escalate' does not display in the Approve drop-down as an option.
- Select the Work Request card to expand the details.
- Click the Approve drop-down and click on Add Note.
- Type in notes in the User Comments window and click the Save button to save the notes. Click the Cancel button to close the window.
