Testing a Query

You can manually run (rather than scheduling) a query to test it.

You can either test just the validity of the query, or you can test both the validity of the query and the delivery of the query.

  1. From the Query Scheduler (Test Query tab), select the Query you want to test.
  2. Click the Requery button.
  3. The results of the query display on the Query Scheduler (Test Query tab).
  4. You can sort the query results based on a column, first in ascending order and subsequently toggling between ascending and descending order. Standard grid functionality applies to this screen. For information on grid functionality see Understanding Grids and Using the Filter Row Feature.
  1. From the Query Scheduler (Test Query tab), select the Query you want to test.
  2. Click the Process Requery button.
  3. WinTeam then creates a query results file, stores the file, sends the query results file, and populates the Query Scheduler (History tab).
