  • The Browse Solutions link in the left-pane menu in Hire has been deactivated in preparation for upcoming help site changes. Users can continue to access the current help site by hovering over their username in the top-right corner and selecting Knowledge Articles from the dropdown menu.

Bug Fix

  • We had an issue where if a user was emailed a report from Hire by WorkWave, the report could not be opened properly in the email received. This has been fixed.

Bug Fix

  • We were informed of a bug regarding how we were mapping veteran information from EHX to WinTeam. After further inspection, we identified the inaccuracies and inconsistencies and have updated our mapping to reflect the following:
    • Disabled Veteran OR Special Disabled Veteran
      • Disabled Veteran in WinTeam
    • Armed Forces Service Medal Veteran OR Vietnam Veteran
      • Armed Forces Service Medal Veteran in WinTeam
    • Active Duty Wartime or Campaign Badge Veteran
      • Active Duty Wartime or Campaign Badge Veteran in WinTeam
    • Recently Separated (1 Year) OR Recently Separated (3 Years)
      • Not currently mapping to WinTeam as there is no checkbox on the WinTeam window for this field. WinTeam has behind-the-scenes logic based off of separation date field. Please continue to manually input the separation date at this time.

Bug Fixes

  • For clients using our Text To Apply feature, we had an issue where "Start" and "Stop" responses were incorrectly being saved as answers. This has been fixed, and when a user now texts "Stop," they have opted out of receiving texts, and if they text "Start," they have opted back in .
  • We had an issue where the formatting for job postings was displaying incorrectly on the MyCleaningJobs and MyGuardJobs websites. The formatting issues have been fixed, and job postings now display correctly on these sites.

Enhancement

  • For clients utilizing the Employee Referral source in Settings > Jobs > Sources, if a custom field is added, this field now displays under Who referred this candidate? on the applicant profile.

System Update

  • As part of our rebranding efforts, we updated the email that gets sent to invited Hire by WorkWave users to reflect the name change from Kwantek to Hire by WorkWave.

Bug Fixes

  • When submitting an application in the updated Joblink, we had an issue where an answer would not display correctly on the review page if N/A was selected. This has been fixed.
  • We had an issue in the updated Joblink where the Additional Information/Benefits section would not display if no benefits were selected. This has been fixed.

System Updates

  • Kwantek has been rebranded and is now operating as Hire by WorkWave. The functionality and features are still the same. You can access the new portal login through the new URL, hirebyworkwave.com. If you have any questions, please contact your customer success manager.
  • For Text Request users, we removed the character limit for texts and added a message count that displays the number of text messages that would be sent given the number of characters entered in the message.

Enhancement

  • The Analytics feature in Hire by WorkWave has been updated to Insights and is integrated with Power BI, a business analytics software provided by Microsoft that lets you visualize your data and provides business insights that can help in decision making. System Update

  • For Text To Apply users, we added opt-in/opt-out content to our initial welcome message, providing users a way to opt out of receiving further text messages, if desired.

Enhancement

  • For clients using Text Request. we enhanced the security for dashboards and phone numbers. Previously, when sending a text, users could view all dashboards, regardless of whether they had permission in Text Request to view a particular dashboard. This has been restricted so that users can only view the dashboards they have access to based on their permissions in Text Request.
  • Note: If a user is set up as an Admin in Text Request, they retain access to all dashboards.

System Updates

  • For clients using Text Request, we updated our system's logic and text to reflect Text Request's 160-character limit.
  • Per ZipRecruiter's guidance, we now include pay rate in our feed. The pay range will now display on ZipRecruiter for each job.
  • The logo in the updated Joblink will now automatically scale to the appropriate size, helping to streamline the setup process.

Bug Fixes

  • When utilizing the candidate search feature, if a candidate had quotations or apostrophes in their name, we had an issue where the candidate would be displayed in the search results, but other information would not be displayed. We have corrected our search functionality to support quotation and apostrophe characters.

  • For clients using Text Request's two-way texting feature, we had an issue where the time listed on the screen was not the same as the actual time the text was sent. This has been fixed.

  • In the updated Joblink, if a job was created and benefits were not selected from the available options, we had an issue where the shifts selected in the Work Schedule portion of job creation were not displaying on the posting. We have corrected the logic, and shifts now display regardless of whether benefits are selected or not.

  • We had an issue where an error would occur if too many characters were entered in the zip code field. This has been fixed by restricting the number of characters allowed to 20, which accounts for longer postal codes from various countries.

  • In preparation for our new analytics platform, Insights, we have moved the following reports to Hire by WorkWave under Analytics > Reports in the top menu:
    • EEO Candidate Detail
    • WinTeam Submission
    • EEO Overview (This report has been split into two reports - EEO Answers by Job and EEO Answers by Category)
  • Note: These reports are still currently available in Sisense.

System update

  • If an applicant fails to import to WinTeam from EHX, we now automatically retry two more times if the reason is a system timeout issue before considering it a failure. This does not include reasons such as duplicate SSNs or missing values in fields such as first name, last name, or phone number.

Bug Fixes

  • When editing scheduled interviews, we had an issue where the date of the interview would sometimes change to the wrong date. This has been fixed.

  • We had an issue where an application would fail to be processed in Hire by WorkWave if the applicant had selected an unrealistic graduation date, such as 0024, when completing an application. This has been fixed by only allowing a date range of 01/01/1753 to 12/31/9999 to be selected.
  • When a returning applicant would attempt to apply for a job in the updated Joblink, we had an issue where the page informing the user to check their inbox was not displaying. An email message with a link to continue the application was also sometimes not being sent, and if it was, the link would sometimes be broken. These issues have all been fixed.

Enhancement

  • When an applicant has previously applied for a job in the updated Joblink and attempts to reapply for the same job, a message displays informing them that they have already applied. This helps to prevent applicants from applying for the same job multiple times.
  • We now support multiple types of third-party tracking pixels in the updated Joblink.

Bug Fixes

  • The confirmation emails being sent when applicants submit an application via the updated Joblink were not displaying the appropriate data when a specialty field was being used. For example, the specialty field <<jobTitle>> would display as "<>" instead of the actual job title. This has been fixed.
  • We had an issue where applicants using the updated Joblink would receive two confirmation emails - one when completing the My information page of the application, and another one when submitting the full application. We corrected this issue and now only send a confirmation email when the applicant has submitted a full application.

Enhancement

  • We enhanced the hiring workflow to display the EHX Employee Profile of an applicant after completing the Hire Candidate window. This allows you to complete their profile at the same time. Previously, users would have to open the EHX Employee Profile separately and search for the applicant manually. See EHX Employee Profile Update for details.

Enhancement

  • The EEO Tracker option in Settings now allows you to toggle it off and on for the updated Joblink. Previously the EEO questions were always displaying in the updated Joblink.

Bug Fixes

  • We had an issue where apostrophes were displaying incorrectly in the job title on the confirmation page and My Information page in the updated Joblink. This has been fixed.
  • In the updated Joblink, when a candidate would apply, we had an issue where the country code would cause the last digit in the phone number to not display in the EHX profile. For example, the phone number of +1 234 567 8901 would incorrectly display as 123 456 7890. We corrected this issue by updating our API to only send the appropriate portion of the phone number.

Enhancements

  • With the updated Joblink, when a candidate returns to the Job Search page from the Job Details page by clicking the back button, any previously applied filters on the Job Search page are saved, and the page displays the same information as before.
  • We added a confirmation email for when applicants submit an application via the updated Joblink. This is configured in SettingsEmailConfirmation Template.
  • We now update an applicant's profile in Hire by WorkWave with the information they input in the updated Joblink. For example, if an applicant applies via Indeed (or from another source) and then applies in the updated Joblink, their information will reflect the updated Joblink data.

  • For clients utilizing our public API, we added Archived Jobs to our GET Jobs endpoint, with a new parameter to determine whether or not to include archived jobs.

Bug Fixes

  • For the updated Joblink, the text in the Additional Information/Benefits section previously wasn't displaying. This has been fixed.
  • When creating a job, the Weekends option in the Work Schedule section in the updated Joblink was previously duplicating as 3rd Shift. This has been fixed.
  • We had an issue where the actions for certain Hire by WorkWave permissions could still be performed, even if disabled for the user. The following permissions have been fixed:
    • Add Candidate Notes
    • Copy Candidates
    • Send Assessment Invites

Enhancements

  • We added a French Canadian option to the language drop-down in the updated Joblink.
  • For Text to Apply users, we added Spanish translations to our automated messages. Note: You can still sign up for the beta version of Text to Apply if you haven't already. If you would like to use this feature, contact your TEAM Customer Success Manager.
  • We now allow for JavaScript tracking pixels, which can be useful for tracking user behavior and conversions, to the updated Joblink. If you would like to use this feature, contact TEAM Client Services by phone at 800-500-4499 or by email at supportstaff@teamsoftware.com.

System update

  • The Can View Analytics option in the Administrative permission settings has been updated to Can View Analytics and Insights.

Bug Fix

  • When applying for a job using a registered email on Joblink, we had an issue where the Continue Application button in the verification email didn't work properly on certain browsers. We added a link below the button for the applicant to copy and paste the URL into their browser if the button does not work.

Enhancement

  • We have improved the updated Joblink's search engine optimization (SEO) and Google Jobs Connection to increase the site's visibility.

System update

  • For updated Joblink users, we added text to the Apply Now widget informing them that by applying they consent to being contacted via sms, email, or phone calls about their application. This was a compliance requirement for clients utilizing text messages.

Bug Fix

  • We had an issue where some of the text formatting wasn't displaying correctly in the updated Joblink. This has been fixed.

  • We updated the logos on the applicant assessment results document to be in-line with the WorkWave design.

Enhancements

  • We added the ability to create a new job with a zero value in the Job Openings field.

  • For the WinTeam integration we added a permission group that controls which WinTeam values display in onboarding. The new permission group is called WinTeam Value Management and all options are selected by default.
