Single Sign On with Parallels

With Parallels you can set up a single sign on feature to save time with signing into WinTeam. Once you are set up for this feature, you only need to sign into Parallels (entering your user ID and password), and the system automatically signs you into the chosen database.

Set up process

To start the set up process, contact TEAM Client Services for database access and provide them with the appropriate user information.

  1. For database provisioning, contact TEAM Client Services by phone at 800-500-4499 or by email at supportstaff@teamsoftware.com and provide them with the appropriate User ID(s) and corresponding email address(es)
  2. Once access has been provisioned, open the System - User Security window
  3. Display the appropriate User Name
  4. Enter the user's email address in the UPN field and save the record

Note:  
– Each user must have unique UPN's within the same database.
– You can use the same UPN on different databases.
– The single sign on feature only works for databases that the user is provisioned to use.

Sign on process

With the single sign on process, you only need to enter your log in credentials for Parallels, choose the appropriate database you want to open, and the system automatically signs you into WinTeam.

  1. Sign into Parallels by entering your user ID and password
  2. Double click on the WinTeam icon and choose the appropriate value from the Database drop down

When you want to open a different database, double click on the WinTeam icon and select the appropriate option from the Database drop down (log in auto scripted).
