Lighthouse – Display or Hide Text on Forms and Reports

Displaying text on forms can provide field employees with instructions or other helpful information when they are submitting a form. You can choose to only display text on forms or display on forms and when you print reports.

Display or hide text on forms or reports

  1. In Lighthouse Web, navigate to the Templates menu option
  2. Click on the Form Templates tab
  3. Navigate to the template you need to update
  4. Add a Display Texttype field to the form
  5. Type in the text you want displayed in the Options field
  6. Select the Search or Select drop down and select the Display always option
    • Display always - viewable on forms and PDF reports
    • Display on form entry only - viewable on forms
  7. Click the Save and Confirm buttons at the bottom of the window
