Lighthouse Web – Messages and Message Groups
In Lighthouse Web you can send messages to one employee or groups of employees. The message feature works seamlessly across the Lighthouse Mobile app and web for users that use both.
In Lighthouse Web you can complete the following message activities.
- View mobile message threads
- Respond to mobile and web messages
- Create new message groups
- Send messages from web to mobile users
- See who is in a message thread
- Add/remove users from a message thread
Sending a message
You can send messages to one employee or groups of employees as long as they are set up in a message group.

- In Lighthouse Web, click on the Messages menu option
- Select the message group you want to view or respond to
- To send a message, enter the text of the message in the Enter Message field and press

To send a message, you first need to add a group (even if messaging only one employee).

- In Lighthouse Web, click on the Messages menu option
- Click the button
- Type the name in the Group Name field
- Click the Select participants drop down and select the employees you want in the group
- Click the button
Tip: To save time finding users you can type in the employee name and use the search feature.

- In Lighthouse Web, click on the Messages menu option
- Select the message group you want to view or edit
- Click the People icon and a drop down displays the group members
- To edit the group members, click the Menu option, and select the button
- If you made updates, click the and buttons
