Kwantek – WOTC Information

The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a Federal tax credit available to employers for hiring individuals from certain targeted groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment. When supplemental documentation is required either by the state or the processor, the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) processing team will notify the primary WOTC contact (as has been provided by the client) via ongoing reports. This additional information is needed in order to complete the WOTC application and allow states to provide approval or denial of the submitted applications. It is the responsibility of the managers or administrators to obtain this information from employees.

In addition to the report being emailed, the Attention Required Report identifying employees for whom information is needed is also available to Administrators with the needed permissions under WOTC Reports in the Onboarding portal.
